Term charter cost calculator

Choose your duration and charter price to explore your total budget. All amounts are in USD.

Enter the total boat & crew price for your selected charter: $4,000–$120,000. All percentages apply to this amount.

4. Advance Provisioning Allowance35%

35% of the charter base, budgeted for expenses such as fuel, food and beverages.

YOUR CHARTER ESTIMATE

Planning estimate using YCN’s supplied rates: US 7%, Bahamas 14%, APA 35%. Final pricing and applicable taxes are confirmed in your charter quote. APA is an advance expense allowance; actual expenses are reconciled after the charter. Gratuity is discretionary.

Understanding your charter budget

Boat & crew price

Enter the quoted boat and crew price for your entire selected charter. Changing the number of days updates the average per day; it does not multiply this price.

What does APA cover?

The 35% Advance Provisioning Allowance is a budget for operating expenses such as fuel, food, drinks and dockage. These expenses are paid from the APA rather than added again to this estimate. Actual spending is reconciled after your charter: unspent funds are returned, and additional spending may require a top-up.

How is gratuity calculated?

The selected 15–20% gratuity is calculated on the boat and crew price only. It is shown separately from APA and tax, and remains discretionary.
