Term Charters
More Than a Charter. Make It a Journey.
Escape aboard your own private yacht for several days or an entire week. Wake up somewhere new each morning, discover secluded islands and hidden anchorages, and experience the freedom of a journey completely tailored around you.
Multi-Day Yacht Charters
Don't Just Visit.
Wake Up Somewhere New.
A term charter turns the yacht from a day on the water into your private home at sea. Cruise beyond Miami, spend multiple days aboard and build an itinerary around islands, anchorages, beaches and destinations that cannot be experienced in a few hours.
From a long weekend in Bimini to a week exploring the Exumas, YCN helps match you with the right yacht and shape the journey around your group.
The Experience
Your Yacht Becomes the Journey.
Instead of returning to the dock after a few hours, keep going. Each day can bring a new anchorage, island, marina or experience.
Why Go Multi-Day?
More Than a Charter.
A Different Way to Travel.
A term charter gives you the freedom to move at your own pace while keeping your accommodations, views and experiences with you.
Wake Up on the Water
Start the morning at anchor, in a marina or beside an island instead of returning to the same hotel room.
Reach More Places
Explore secluded beaches, cays and anchorages that are best accessed by private yacht.
Your Own Itinerary
Build the route around your interests rather than following a fixed group-tour schedule.
Water Every Day
Swim, snorkel and enjoy yacht-specific water toys as conditions and locations allow.
Life Aboard
Combine time aboard with island restaurants, beach clubs, marinas and local experiences along the route.
Slow Down
Stay longer when you find somewhere special instead of trying to fit the experience into a single day.
Choose Your Journey
How Long Should You Charter?
The best duration depends on your departure point, yacht, cruising speed and how deeply you want to explore.
Where Will You Go?
One Yacht. Endless Possibilities.

Choose the Right Yacht
For a Term Charter, the Yacht Matters Differently.
For a day charter, social space may be everything. For multiple days aboard, cabins, storage, range, ride comfort, crew areas and onboard systems become much more important.
-
Cabins & Sleeping CapacityChoose accommodations that give your group the privacy and comfort needed for several nights aboard.
-
Range & Cruising SpeedThe yacht's performance affects which destinations make sense within your available time.
-
Indoor & Outdoor LivingLook for comfortable spaces for meals, relaxing, shade and evenings aboard.
-
Water Toys & TenderFor multi-day cruising, access to shore and activities on the water can become a major part of the experience.
-
Destination FitDraft, range, speed and onboard equipment should all be considered against your intended itinerary.
A Week on the Water
No Two Days Need to Look the Same.
A sample Bahamas rhythm — not a fixed itinerary. The actual route always depends on the yacht, departure point, weather and conditions.

Term Charter FAQ
The key questions to consider before planning several days aboard.
What is a term charter?
A term charter is a multi-day yacht charter where the yacht becomes both your transportation and your accommodation. Instead of returning after a few hours, you stay aboard and travel between destinations over several days.
Which YCN yachts are available for multi-day charters?
Multi-day eligibility varies by yacht. YCN's Bahamas collection currently identifies multiple yachts as multi-day eligible, and individual product pages may offer options such as 24-hour or one-week charters. Confirm availability for your dates and intended itinerary before booking.
Where can we go?
Possible destinations can include Bimini, Nassau, the Exumas, Eleuthera, Harbour Island, the Florida Keys and other suitable cruising areas. The practical route depends on your yacht, departure point, charter duration, weather and marine conditions.
Can we customize the itinerary?
Yes. The itinerary can be developed around the destinations and experiences that interest you, while the captain retains responsibility for the final route and safe operation of the yacht.
Where can the charter begin?
Departure options vary by yacht. Current YCN multi-day listings include South Florida pickup points as well as Nassau locations, making it possible to begin some Bahamas itineraries directly in The Bahamas.
How many nights should we book?
For a nearby escape, two or three days can work well. Four or five days creates more flexibility, while a week or longer allows a much deeper itinerary. Travel times vary significantly by yacht and conditions.
Are food and provisioning included?
Inclusions and provisioning arrangements vary by yacht and charter agreement. For a term charter, food, beverages, preferences and other onboard requirements should be coordinated before departure.
What should we pack?
Soft-sided luggage, lightweight clothing, swimwear, sun protection and personal essentials are generally more practical aboard than rigid suitcases. Your yacht-specific team can advise you based on the itinerary and onboard storage.
What happens if weather changes the itinerary?
Weather is part of yacht travel. Safety comes first, and the captain may adjust routes, timing or anchorages based on sea state and forecast conditions. A flexible itinerary is one of the best ways to enjoy a multi-day charter.

Choosing from Term charters
Use this collection to build a shortlist, then compare the yachts against your dates, guest count and preferred charter length. Check each listing for its description, available options and departure locations. A listed price is a starting point for comparison; request confirmation of the yacht and the complete cost for your plans.
Consider how you want to spend your time aboard: sightseeing, dining, relaxing at anchor or an overnight stay. Discuss the route you have in mind and the facilities your group needs. Availability, crew, permitted guest numbers and itinerary suitability should be confirmed for the particular yacht before you book.
